Dipex Woven Fabrics are composed of glass or carbon fibres woven into a crimped bidirectional reinforcement. They are produced by the interlacing of warp (0°) and weft (90°) fibres in a regular pattern or weave style. The fabric’s integrity is maintained by the mechanical interlocking of the fibres.

Woven roving fabrics provide the most economical solution for raising the glass content of composite structures and delivering an increasing overall flexural and impact resistance without adding thickness, weight, or other non-reinforcing materials.

REINFORCEMENT FIBRES

Dipex Woven Fabrics are made with either E/ECR glass or carbon fibre depending on the final application. Upon request, it is possible to combine carbon fibres with glass or aramid fibres as well.

Our fabrics are tailored to meet the individual needs of our customers. Product parameters can be adjusted based on the final application in order to deliver the expected performance.

Dipex Mutltiaxial Fabrics are composed of one or more plies of stretched   glass or carbon fibers stitched by polyester yarns  into  a non-crimp reinforcement.  Individual layers can be oriented in different axis while stretched fibers deliver optimum mechanical performance due to absoption of highest possible loads.   

NCF fabrics are typically used in the marine, wind energy, transportation, and sports and leisure industries to increase the flexural and impact strength of laminates.

Our fabrics are tailored to meet individual needs of customers. Product parametres can be adjusted based on end –use application in order to deliver  expected performance.

Depending on the fiber orientation, fiber type  and number of layers   a  unidirectional, biaxial, triaxial or quadriaxial  architecture can be assembled.

Dipex range of combination fabrics include  combimats and stiched mats made of E or ECR glass fibers.  They represent  versatile and cost-effective reinforcements suitable for wide range of applications such as profiles, panels, boats, pipes or tanks.  

COMBIMAT  

Combimats  are composed on woven fabric  layer and one or two layers of chopped  glass fibers bonded together by polyester yarn.  Combination of woven fabric and chopped glass fibers combines individual benefits and features of both materials:  mechanical properties of woven roving as well as an asthetic function of mat in one product.

STITCHED MAT

Stitched mats are made of chopped E or ECR glass fibers  mechanically bonded by polyester yarn.   Length of chopped roving can vary from  50 to 400 mm delivering different visual and mechanical performance. They help to build a single layer laminate with good surface finish and high glass content.
