Overview Composites UK/ Composites Leadership Forum
Composites UK is the trade association representing the UK composites sector. With over 270 members from across the supply chain it celebrated its 30th Anniversary this year. Processes and materials have progressed during that time and many of applications that were in demonstration then are now common-place, but there is still more to do. The global market is increasingly competitive and composites must fight hard for their share.
The Composites Leadership Forum (CLF) was established in 2012 to bring the UK national composites organisations together under one body to develop and deliver the UK Composites Industry Strategy. Fully supported by UK Government, the CLF is chaired by industry with members drawn from industry sector groups, Government and stakeholders and delivery partners.
This presentation will look at the support structure in the UK for the composites sector and highlight some of the work being done to progress delivery of the UK composites strategy towards the growth targets forecast.
