Company presentation

METYX Composites, a rapidly growing division of Telateks A.S. ®, is a manufacturer of high-performance technical textiles, including: multiaxial reinforcements, carbon reinforcements, RTM reinforcements, woven reinforcements, and vacuum bagging products. Only certified raw materials are used, and all manufacturing processes strictly adhere to demanding ISO 9001 standards, ensuring the highest quality reinforcements.

In addition to technical textile production are two composite related business units: METYX Composites Tooling Center  and METYX Composites Kitting Center, which are additional services to better serve specific customer needs. Tooling Center specializes in composite tooling and prototyping services, as well as pattern and plug production services. Kitting Center focuses on the provision of core materials kits (PVC, PET, balsa, polyurethane), as well as kits for glass and carbon fibre reinforcements and vacuum consumables.

Products and service are currently provided from its four factories in Turkey, Hungary and USA; METYX has 41,000 square meter, state-of-the art facilities in Istanbul and Manisa in Turkey, as well as a 15,000 square meter factory (with 67.000 sq.m open area) manufacturing center in Kaposvár, Hungary. Plus, the company has recently started the production in its new facility in North Carolina, USA.

To complement the product portfolio, METYX Composites also offers extensive consulting services and technical training.

Among the industries that METYX Composites serves are marine, automotive, transportation, wind energy, construction and architectural applications, infrastructure, and sports and leisure.
