Gabriele Schwager new COMPOSITES EUROPE Project Manager

Gabriele Schwager (51) is the new COMPOSITES EUROPE Project Manager. She succeeds Michael Köhler who took over the management of the ALUMINIUM World Fair and Congress at Reed Exhibitions Deutschland.

Schwager, who was born in Düsseldorf, has many years of highly relevant experience in the international trade fair and event business: eleven of these in Australia where, among other things, she was in charge of the Australian sales operations of Köln Messe and particularly successful in international third party trade fair management with an owner-operated agency. Since then, Gabriele Schwager has been in charge of managing trade fair participations worldwide for an entertainment corporation. With her return to the Rhine her career comes full circle: the linguist has her trade fair roots at Messe Düsseldorf, for whom she worked in the mid-Eighties.

With COMPOSITES EUROPE, Gabriele Schwager takes over the management of an extremely dynamic trade fair which since its first edition in 2006 has developed into one of Europe’s leading material fairs for reinforced plastics with meanwhile close to 350 exhibitors. In combination with ALUMINIUM which will be held concurrently this year, COMPOSITES EUROPE is presently the largest event in the field of lightweight construction.
