GMA-WERKSTOFFPRÜFUNG.GMBH – with headquarters in Düsseldorf – was founded as „Gesellschaft für Material-Abnahme“ (Association for materials approval, GMA) in 1984, and has evolved today into on of the German market leaders in the field of quality assurance / materials testing. We are an accredited company according to the guidelines of the European rules and standards (DIN ESO 17025 / EASA, PART 145, Airbus Lab Qualification, Nadcap) and our field of activities ranges from project-related tasks for industrial and power plants, to jobs for manufacturing and supply companies in the automotive, wind industry and  aeronautic industries. With more than 900 qualified employees GMA is represented national as well as international.

Thanks to our test centres and laboratories in Düsseldorf, Dortmund, Augsburg, Leverkusen, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Nordenham, Bremen, Stade, Varel and Hengelo, Utrecht as well as Eemshaven (The Netherlands) we have an excellent network of experts for solving any test engineering problems.

Through a wide variety of innovative testing options in the areas of non-destructive and destructive materials testing, as well as materialography and image analysis, our customers can obtain a complete range of testing services, all from one source. Our services include non-destructive testing with ultrasonic-, surface crack-, radiograpic- and eddy current testing. We can offer destructive testing like mechanical testing, physical/chemical testing, image analysis, reflected and transmitted light microscopy, scanning electron microscope, materialographical testing/analysis and sample preparation. Around 3D-industry measurement/metrology our portfolio includes geometrical measurements, digitalisation, deformation analysis, repetition measurements, alternating testing as well as process support.

In the framework of development, research and apprenticeship, we conduct education and qualification of materials tester for composites, classes for NDT, traineeship for pupils, students and technicians. Processes and methods as well as quality management complete our service portfolio.
