- Successful launch of COMPOSITES EUROPE exceeds expectations
- New European trade fair for composites draws 60 percent participation from abroad
Essen. “A perfect start“, is the happy comment from Britta Wirtz, Director of the new trade fair COMPOSITES EUROPE which was launched successfully in Essen with more than 3,700 visitors. The new European Trade Fair for Composites, Technology and Applications thus met the expecta-tions in the European market for industry fairs.
The focus of the three-day fair was on fibre composite materials. On 6,000 sqm, 200 exhibitors from all over Europe as well as overseas presented the entire value creation chain of composites from the raw materials to processing technology and practical applications. In cooperation with the European Composites Industry Association (EuCIA) the organisers, Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH, succeeded in positioning another materials fair in the market. In parallel with
COMPOSITES EUROPE, Reed Exhibitions also organises the ALUMINIUM trade fair at the same time in Essen.
