11th Internationale AVK-ConferenceA continuing partnership: The AVK Conference for reinforced plastics and thermosetting materials from 22-23 September 2008 marks the beginning of the COMPOSITES EUROPE trade show. Industry and academic experts will present the state of the art in current technology, also outlining future perspectives for fibre-reinforced plastics (composites). The practically oriented lectures appeal to all relevant sectors of industry.
In 2008 the AVK – German Federation of Reinforced Plastics – expects more than 500 conference participants. The conference programme will be available from Mid June 2008.
In the course of the COMPOSITES Night, the renowned AVK innovation award ceremony will take place.
AVK represents the interests of producers and manufacturers of reinforced and filled plastics or thermosetting materials as well as their raw material distributors on the German and European level.
AVK Conference participants are entitled to a free entry to COMPOSITES EUROPE and the COMPOSITES Night.

For the first time, the Biomaterial Congress will be held in the course of the annual AVK Conference at COMPOSITES EUROPE 2008.
Biomaterials are based on renewable raw materials such as flax, hemp or wood but also cork or grass. Presently, they are making their way from research to the market. The possibilities, products and trends are topics of the 6th N-FibreBase Congress.
Due to the access to the annual AVK Conference in the context of COMPOSITES EUROPE especially the ambassadors of the industry will be addressed.
