Mongolian Cuisine is not that famous is Germany. Eating out at Mongo'S once is, however, a special experience. After ordering drinks, the guest recieves a bowl to fill at the buffet himself. There he can chose between all different things. The buffet starts with vegetables and salad, follwed by nuts and noodles until meat and fish. These different ingredients are raw and some of them even extraordinary, like, for example, kangaroo or gnu. Then the guest gives the bowl to the cook who roasts it with a marinade chosen before.
It is cashed up over the times how often the guest fills up the bowl. Who just goes to the buffet once, pays € 12,90 and who goes more often, pays a total of € 19,90.
It is really comfortable that tables can be booked over the internet.

Especially famous for Business Lunch amongst the employees of the neighbouring Nationalbank the Banker's Inn presents itself in a very British style. However, next to the daily changing lunch menu (Monday to Friday) you can have an outstanding dinner there as well. Next to typical regional dishes the owners offer fancy foods like lobster-foam-soup with blue-white fish. The Banker's Inn is a restaurant for comfortable dining with friends as well as for business meetings.
Casino Zollverein GmbH 
Gasthaus Margaretenhöhe is located in close vicinity to the fairgrounds. Its strong point is a good international cuisine with some regional influences at moderate prices. Menus and service also in English. 
Jagdhaus Schellenberg is to be highly recommended. Its sophisticated international cuisine and views of the Baldeneysee and the foothills of the Bergische Land are attractive not only for gourmets. The beer garden opens in good weather.
