About CCeV:

The network of competence Carbon Composites e.V. (CCeV), founded in 2007 in Augsburg, united at the end of May 2012 more than 160 companies and research facilities from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Members include research facilities such as the DLR and the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft with various institutes, Augsburg University and colleges, large companies from almost all sectors, small and mid-sized enterprises as well as, for example, regional associations and chambers. The association is based in Augsburg.

CCeV sees itself as a network of competence which promotes the use of fibre composite technologies. The activities of the CCeV are orientated to the “market orientated high performance fibre composite structures” product group. The focus is on fibre composite structures with plastic matrices, also known to a broad public from many applications, as well as fibre composite structures with ceramic matrices with their higher temperature and wear and tear resistance.
