By taxi from Düsseldorf Airport to the fairground in Essen (journey time about 20 minutes, approximate cost € 30).

Weeze/Laarbruch Airport (Niederrhein Airport)
Weeze International Airport is about 1 hour away from Essen's city centre, with flights to and from 23 European destinations. You can get to Essen Rail Station by bus (8 x daily, price: €12.50), by train via Krefeld to Essen Hbf (every 30 minutes) or you can drive yourself to the Essen fairground in about 1 hour if you decide to use car rental.

Airport Shuttle
We offer the Airport Shuttle from 13 to 16 September driving every 30 minutes between 7:45 am and 6:45 pm from Airport Dusseldorf to the Exhibtion Centre Essen and back. It leaves at the bus stop 072 in front of the terminal B. The ticket for a round trip costs 20,-€ and needs to be paid cash to the bus driver.
